Carefully take off the packaging from around your bouquet and trim the stems.

Cut approximately 1 cm from the ends of each stem at an angle.
Cutting the stems at an angle helps them to suck up water.

Only use a vase that has been thoroughly washed so that there is no danger of bacterial contamination from your last bunch of flowers.
Fill your vase to 3/4 full with fresh tap water then add the flower food. (except with tulips - only fill to 1/4 of the vase).
The flower food will prolong the life of your flowers (except with tulips).
Always follow the guidelines on the back of the sachet.

Display your gorgeous bouquet in a cool location away from draughts, direct sunlight and heat.

Remove any leaves or flowers which lie beneath the water as this will cause bacteria to grow in the water.
To refresh flowers after 2-3 days, remove any drooping flowers or foliage, re-cut the stems and replace the water with fresh water.

Orders that are cancelled online or via the phone are subject to a cancellation fee.

When email confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when payment has been processed. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Schedule Orders received before 1pm Monday to Friday and Midday on Saturday UK time for UK delivery will be delivered on the same day if required.

Orders received after this time are generally delivered the following day.

We do not deliver on a Sunday.

Orders placed to be delivered on a public holiday will be delivered the next working day. Online deliveries can only be to our delivery area in York.

Orders are delivered ONCE. If the recipient is not home the flowers/plant are returned to the shop and a delivery note is left informing them that flowers/plant have tried to be delivered and to collect from the shop.
If a neighbour is home we will try and leave the flowers/plant with them providing they are willing to take responsibility for the delivery.
If the recipient is physically unable to collect their flowers/plant a new delivery date will be arranged with the recipient at York Fresh Flowers earliest convenience.

York Fresh Flowers are not responsible for theft or damage of flowers, plants or sundries if left outside the delivery property.
